Sally Winter Design
No-one understands the importance of first impressions better than a costume designer. So when Sally Winter, costume designer for screen and stage, felt her own visual identity lacked the flair and impact that she achieves in her work, she asked Shotgun Front to give her a makeover.
We happily obliged with an entirely new look that included a logo and visual identity, photography, website, business card and promotional fliers.
Sally’s website is essentially an online portfolio, so we created a sense of atmosphere and theatricality using a Flash animation that changes the background colour to harmonise with each photograph in a manner reminiscent of stage lighting. All the photographs and illustrations in the portfolio were digitally post-produced by Shotgun Front.
Ongoing work includes creating a customised blog for Sally to feature tutorials and paid-for downloadable files for fashion and costume designers and students.
